BarTender Service Releases
BarTender service releases and minor updates are always free and usually notated
as follows:
- Service Release: A typical service release for a version such as
9.5 would be notated as 9.5 SR1.
- Minor Update: Minor updates are rare but do occur. For example,
version 8.0 was followed by 8.01. (Note that the "hundredths digit,"
the digit two places to the right of the decimal point, is the only one that changed.)
Latest Service Release
The latest version of BarTender is
10.0.
However, there are not yet any service releases available for this version.

Service Releases for Older BarTender Versions
If any digit other than the digit two places to the right of the decimal point is
the one that has changed in the current version of BarTender relative to your version,
then getting the latest version of BarTender is a paid upgrade for you.

software versions can usually update for free to the latest service release
