Windows Printer Drivers by Seagull™

The drivers on this page support:

• Windows XP SP2 or higher, and all editions of Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
• Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, and 2012.
• 32-bit and 64-bit (x64) editions.
• Although many customers use our current drivers with Windows 2000 (SP4 recommended), Seagull has never tested them on Windows 2000. To download drivers that have been validated by Seagull on Windows 2000, please see the older printer drivers page.

For Use With or Without BarTender

The standard functions of true Windows Drivers by Seagull™ are powerful and flexible enough to generate high-quality barcodes, labels and cards from almost any Windows program. However, standard Windows programs have no way to access many of the special "enhanced" driver functions that give BarTender access to the high-speed features found in most of today's high performance label printers. The "standard" functions of Drivers by Seagull ensure compatibility with the widest possible variety of Windows programs and the "enhanced" functions, when used with BarTender, offer high-performance printing features such as:

• Full control over printer's built-in barcode capabilities (instead of having to print barcodes as either a bitmap or a simulated barcode "font").
• Encode RFID chips, magnetic stripes, and smart cards.
• Printer-based serialization.
• Downloadable label formats.
• Storage of the unchanging parts of labels in the printer.
• Caching of graphics and formats in the printer.
